Find your niche partners, collaborators, and champions: As you’re creating your course, look for notable people who are also creating content in the space. Look att how their businesses operate and incorporate that into your own plan. You can also reach out to any influencers and make them affiliates for your own course. This way, they’ll be incentivized to share your content with their own audiences (which can be a major way to generate your first sales—it helps if you're using one of the best CRMs for small business—and start building your own community!)

But many successful apps, particularly those in the Apple and Google stores, are created and marketed by individuals and small businesses. While the book provides countless examples of people with no experience in real estate becoming successful with these practices, I just believe someone with no experience would benefit better with a book that was written in layman's terms. Buy underpriced used books. Outfit a phone with an ISBN reading app, scan the ISBN numbers of books at used bookstores and thrift shops, and compare the asking prices with what the books are selling for on a site like Amazon. Whenever you get a good hit (which won’t be often but, since the process is fast, won’t take long, either), buy the book and resell it online. Be discreet about this, as the store managers probably won’t like what you’re doing.
When describing whatever it is your promoting, share your experience! If you can throw in some data or graphs to go along with it, even better. Back when I was more actively writing about eHow, I promoted an ebook that I read which helped quadruple my earnings per article. I created a graph that showed how much I earned before I read the book versus how much I earned after. To this date, that ebook has been one of the most successful affiliate promotions I’ve done on this blog.

Start analyzing your decisions from the perspective of a firm. In economics, a firm's goal is simply to maximize profit. Well-run firms spend money only if they can expect to make more money from their investment, and they allocate their resources to the most profitable use. You're not a firm, of course, and you have other considerations, but if you make the majority of your time and money decisions by choosing the options that promise the highest return on investment, you'll likely earn more money, and that's good news for your shareholders (you and your family).
I read this book and what a well written guidebook on how to wholesale small apartments. If you can go to a garage sale and buy a lawn mower for $25 bucks and then sell it to your neighbor for $40 bucks then you can learn how to buy an 8 plex and then sell it for a profit. The neat thing with Lance's system that is spelled out in the book is that you can use someone else's money to do it! If you want to get into Real Estate or you want to expand your portfolio, you need this book. The vallue of this onformation far and above surpasses the price for the book.
